To start the process, log yourself in with your personal login data on the plenigo platform www.plenigo.com. If you did not have created a product yet, you need to create one, in order to be able to set up a voucher. A voucher itself is neutral in the set-up process but needs to be assigned to a product later on.
For example: you would like to create a voucher for a promotional product. First, you have to create a product with the promotional price and then create the voucher.
If no product exists you can add one by clicking the Button “create a new product“. The next step is to fill in the appropriate fields.
If a product is created, you can simply add a voucher to your account by a mouse click on the tab “vouchers”.
You will be navigated to the voucher overview.
Create a new voucher by clicking on the button “New Campaign”.
The next step will ask you to create a new voucher campaign by filling in the appropriate fields.
If you set a tick by clicking on the field “Start Today“ the campaign will start immediately after the completion of the checkout process. However, it is also possible to set a start and end date. The box “No End Date” allows a campaign to run until the distributor (you) deactivates the campaign or it will be automatically deactivated after three years due to law restrictions.
The voucher must be connected to a product. For connecting the voucher campaign, please click on the field “Select a product” or “Add product ID”. Now you are able to choose a product from the product list or type in a product ID.
Are all fields filled in correctly you are navigated to the next step, the definition of distribution channels of the voucher. In that step, you have the possibility to define different distribution channels, which helps you to analyse the outcome of your campaign in the different channels, such as Email, Newsletter or newspaper. This step is not necessary to complete and can also be skipped.
If the definition of distribution channels is completed or skipped, click on the Button “Next“. The next step is the selection of the different types of vouchers.
The Multi Voucher can only be used once and the distributor determines the number of individual vouchers distributed per campaign.
Example: The person in possession of a voucher is able to redeem the voucher for a free trial of a 1-month newspaper subscription.
The Single Voucher belongs to one voucher code per campaign for which the distributor sets the maximum number of conversions.
Example: Promotional offers for certain events such as Christmas or anniversaries (“Xmas2016”).
Having selected the type of voucher please press the button “Next“ to reach the basket. In the basket there are the different selected orders/vouchers, which can be ordered/activated at cost. Changes within the checkout process can be made by going back to the menu by clicking on the button “back” in the top left corner.
